This is the second time I have visited the Birchcreek Health and Weight Loss Retreat in Pine Hill, New York. I was so inspired by my first experience that I wanted to return, bringing my partner along to share the experience.
The grounds and environment at the Pine Hill campus are relaxing and restful yet elevating for the spirit. It is situated in a densely wooded area with numerous creeks. The accommodations are luxurious, yet cozy.
Although in one sense you feel like you are on your own, the staff always seems to appear to bring in your bags, inquire about your needs or to give you a cheerful and inspiring statement for the day. Any inquires for particular comforts were dealt with immediately.
But life changing jump starts are not just about comfort. The comfort provided was invaluable for support so that we could, by choice, explore a little bit of our limits. We chose to take on the 2-3 varied daily workouts along with the 2-5 mile walks in the morning. The three \meals\ a day consisting of gourmet-prepared juices were surprisingly satisfying and were very effective in detoxifying our systems and supporting a healthy weight loss. I lost 5 pounds in five days which pretty much got me down to my ideal weight that I had not enjoyed for 20 years.
The inspirational seminars, presented by Ron and Julie, gave us the spiritual fuel for the motivation we needed to make the changes we wanted for optimal health. We are really looking forward to Ron’s book being published sometime in June. Julie is also working on a book about celebrating life with gratifying and scrumptious juice recipes.
I have just started implementing the diet changes that I learned about through Birchcreek Weight Loss and Health Retreat, but already I am seeing positive results. I did not need to lose weight, but through the encouragement of my sweetheart, I came to Birchcreek to see if diet could alleviate my overstressed system. The funny thing about nervous system issues is that they are, in some ways, intangible. The results I have seen so far are very encouraging. The results are a surprise in the sense that there is the absence of agitation which feels different than the absence of pain. The symptoms are so few that I could say they are gone. I just need to stay with the Birchcreek diet principles and see the positive results continue over time. So I will give it another month or two, then I can say “Here’s your testiimonial!”
