A: Our guests range from professional men and women to homemakers to couples, and come in all ages, shapes and sizes. Most attend solo, but also we host mother daughter teams, couples, friends, siblings. They all share a common desire to create a happier, healthier lifestyle for themselves and their families and to live a life free of chronic pain, disease, health concerns and weight problems.
Many of our clients have never attended a cleansing detox or weight loss
retreat before Birchcreek. We offer a refreshing, soothing and non –
intimidating environment staffed by caring professionals who have your success

Q: Are there age or weight limits?

Q: Do you accept pets?
A: Some Birchcreek Retreat locations accept well behaved pets. Please inquire when reserving.
Q: Will I have access to my e-mail during my stay?
A: Complimentary high speed/wireless internet access is available at all Birchcreek
Q: Will I need a car during my stay?
A: A car is not necessary during your stay. Shuttle service to and from local airports is available.
Q: Will I be able to keep up with the exercise program?
Birchcreek accepts only limited enrollment in order to ensure attention to each
individual. Our walks and hikes are staffed to accommodate slower guests as well
as athletes. Guests will have an initial evaluation by Birchcreek staff to
determine their fitness level. Our programs are varied to suit individual needs
Q: Will my health insurance cover your program?
A: Although benefits vary widely from plan to plan, it is our experience that most health insurance plans do not reimburse for educational and preventative programs like ours. There are, however, tax deductions available (under certain circumstances) for money spent for our program. Please check with your accountant for more information.
Q: Is Birchcreek Retreat a health spa?
A: The emphasis at the Birchcreek Retreat is on safely and quickly losing weight, increasing fitness, detoxing and cleansing. To complement your visit, we do offer an outstanding selection of spa services such as therapeutic massage, acupuncture, reflexology and natural facials, manicures and pedicures.
Q: Will I be able to work out if I choose the juice fast option?
A:Yes! One of the most notable advantages of attending Birchcreek over almost any other juice program is the ability to workout while attending. Our High Octane Juice Fast provides an enormous protein boost allowing even our Bootcampers to
Q: Is there a physician on staff?
A: Our program is alternative, non clinical and we do not prescribe or change medications so an on staff physician is not required. You are, of course, encouraged to consult with your own health care professionals during your stay at Birchcreek and to continue your prescribed medications.
Our outstanding program has been designed and thoroughly approved by Naturopathic Dr.'s, our on staff Biochemist and nutritional scientists.
Q: Does the Birchcreek Retreat program work for everyone?

Q: Do I have to Juice Fast at Birchcreek? Will I gain all my weight back after the juice fast is over?
A: No, Birchcreek offers a number of juicing/eating options. Juice fasting is not
mandatory, although most of our clients choose juicing because of its accelerated results and high nutrition. If you choose not to juice fast, Birchcreek offers our
‘Clean Regime’ vegetarian meal option. Please feel free to contact or staff for
more info on choosing the program that will bring you the best results.
Contrary to popular belief, you will not gain all your weight back after juice fasting. Birchcreek staff will assist you in easing back into healthy eating habits to ensure continued weight loss success and to help develop long term eating changes
Q: What if I don’t have a lot to lose? Can I lose too much?
A: Some of our clients are repeat Birchcreek alumni who have successfully maintained their weight loss and return just for relaxation, refreshing and recharging. Others choose Birchcreek for cleansing or our energy boosting
programs. We are happy to adjust any program to our maintenance plan to prevent
unwanted loss of pounds.
Q: Do you pair people for double occupancy?
