JUMP START INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
General Description:
Interns have the unique opportunity to work behind the scenes with staff members and with clients in our well established weight loss and wellness clinic. The Jump Start program is based on a proprietary combination of alternative health practices, natural vegetarian foods, juices, and exercise-all part of the philosophy we aim to communicate during an internship.
Interns join in on the program when their assigned tasks are completed, thereby experiencing firsthand the remarkable benefits of a healthy lifestyle. They will frequently have the opportunity to join in walks, hikend/or exercise classes. Our interns also develop hands on experience learning to make fresh juice and, on occasion, raw food preparation.
Here at Jump Start we expect our interns to assist with any or all of the following: walking and hiking, customer service, cleaning, safe food handling, office work, hospitality practices, and general on site assistance where needed.
Compensation:
Although our internship does not offer monetary compensation or lodging, we happily provide food, as well as access to and participation in all aspects of the program that we offer to clients (as described above).
Who Should Apply:
Our ideal candidates are those who can be flexible, proactive, and alert while maintaining a positive attitude- knowing that tasks and responsibilities may vary from day to day. We also look for candidates who are physically capable of participating in our program.
We welcome both men and women of different ages, shapes, and sizes, so please feel free to fill out our application below and mail it to Julie Odato at [email protected] or fax to : 516-216-9912. If you'd like to call for more details, ask for Julie Odato at 845-254-4004.
